About Us
Our goal is to bring authentic, hand-crafted bagels to Bethany Beach. Bagels are a part of our weekend ritual, and we want to share our favorite ritual everyday with locals and visitors alike.
Our obsession with bagels has gone with us wherever we live and travel.
Wherever we go and no matter the reason we are there, we are always on the hunt for the best bagel. Our family has been vacationing and/or living in Bethany Beach for over 30 years, and we could never understand the lack of places to get a decent bagel. Our obsession with bagels eventually turned into a hobby of baking them, which led us to believe we could solve our own issue! Thus, we conceptualized Bagel Bums, and just as a beach bum loves the beach, a bagel bum loves a good bagel. We’ve been perfecting our bagels for a while now and look forward to sharing them with fellow bagel bums in our favorite place on earth.
